Lycra Collection

For the Lycra Collection, we are working closely with multiple Italian textile manufacturers who are known for their high-quality fabrics and strict sustainable production philosophies
We are proud to say that all of our products, through the entire process are Made In Italy

Step 1: Research

A decade of AcroYoga practice had us hunting for leggings that were just right
Some are too slippery, some too grippy
Some are too thick, some too thin
Some are too stiff, some lose their shape
Some have waistbands that are too tight, and some too lose

We asked our friends around the world in the Yoga & AcroYoga community about the pros and cons of their active-wear. From this feedback, along with our own personal experience, we designed our leggings, shorts, and tops!

Step 2: Choosing the material

We have chosen to work with Italian production powerhouse Carvico

Carvico boasts flagship status in the world of fabric research and development. Their new R&D center is a stand-alone business where new fabrics are created and tested with state-of-the-art machinery (for example Chlorine resistance testing - one of the few in the world, measuring fabrics' Chlorine resistance and loss of elasticity over time)

The fabric we chose to use is called 'Vita Power'

We chose this fabric due to the combination of sustainable development and extreme performance. Made of an ECONYL® regenerated Nylon, it boasts muscular compression technology aimed at decreasing the production of lactic acid, therefore boosting a faster recovery of energy
Vita Power is soft and pleasant on the skin, compact and breathable, and highly UV protective ( UPF 50+)

Step 3: Choosing the patterns & colours

For this step, we've teamed up with a family business based in the beautiful Como, known for maintaining a deep respect for traditional Italian printing methods while investing in cutting-edge technology to ensure world-class printing
This family business holds multiple certifications for sustainable practices such as:

-
Chemical testing (annual testing to ensure the fabrics are not harmful)
-
Water saving (digital printing, saving roughly 50% more water than conventional methods)
-
Printing on recycled fabrics
